Why choose Takamaka ?
🎯 In a canoraft, you're the ones steering, so you need guides who know how to lead without taking over. Our certified whitewater guides teach you to paddle in sync as a pair, then lead the way down the Chalaux and the Cure behind the rafts, so you keep all the freedom of steering while staying safe. 🧠 It's also the best way to level up: after a canoraft run, you'll read the river like a pro. 🏠 Our riverside base, with changing rooms and hot showers, rounds off the experience, with over 30 years of experience across the Takamaka network behind every trip.

FAQ
What is canoraft?
Canoraft, also nicknamed the "hot dog" for its shape, is an inflatable two-seater somewhere between a raft and a canoe. Each paddler has a double-bladed paddle and the pair steers the boat themselves.
What's the minimum age for canoraft?
From age 12, as long as you can swim.
Is canoraft harder than rafting?
A bit, yes: with only two of you paddling and steering, it takes more effort and teamwork. We recommend rafting first.
Is the guide in the boat with us?
No, the two of you steer on your own, but your certified guide is with you on the river for the whole trip.
How long does a canoraft trip take?
Allow 2 to 2.5 hours in total, including 1 to 1.25 hours on the water.
How do I book canoraft in the Morvan?
Online on our website, or by phone on +33 3 86 22 65 28. ANCV holiday vouchers are accepted.
What happens if it rains?
We go anyway: you're getting wet regardless!
Can we get photos of our trip?
Photos and videos are available for rafting trips and quad tours.
